Propagation
Sow seed when ripe in pots or flats and place in a cold frame to germinate. Prick out when large enough to handle and pot on for one season before planting out. .
Semi hardwood cuttings taken during summer and place in a protected environment and apply bottom heat.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery textured dark green leaves have a cuneate base with a reddish petiole up to 40 mm (1? in)long. The apex is obtuse to acute and the sharply serrated margin may be undulating.
Flower: The small pink tinted white urceolate flowers have fused petals that form an urn-shape and a pubescent pinkish-white pedestal. They are arranged in a terminal panicle up to 50mm (2in) long appearing from autumn to early winter.
Fruit: The spherical strawberry-like drupe matures red during autumn. The small seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.

Flowers and fruit may appear on the tree simultaneously.
