Flower: The small pink, white or pink-purplish cyathiform flowers have 5-petal-like sepals and 5-petals with 5-stamens. They appear in a small cluster or solitary in the leaf axils from autumn to early spring.
Fruit: The small woody nut-like capsule is accompanied by the persistent calyx. The small seeds are viable but the plant may be easily reproduced vegetatively.
