Propagation
Stem cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period. This is an easy plant to propagate by simply placing it in a well-drained media and maintain a humid environment.
Botanic information
Leaf: The pubescent leaves are broad ovate to orbicular with an obtuse apex and a truncate base. The margin is crenate to dentate and the upper surface is bronze green with pale silvery veins and the underside is purplish.
Flower: The small white pale pink tubular 2-lipped flowers have a short pedestal and are arranged in a long loose raceme that appears during summer and sporadically throughout the year.
Fruit: The tiny fruit is composed of 4-smooth nutlets. The small seed is not commonly used and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
