Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).
Transplant plantlets during late summer or spring.
Botanic information
Leaf: The palmate leaves have 3-oval leaflets that are up to 40 mm (1? in) long with a coarsely serrated margins.
Flower: The crateriform flowers have 5-green sepals and 5-imbricate petals and a long pubescent pedicel. It has a central boss of exserted yellowish stamens with reddish anthers and the flowering period is from spring to autumn.
Fruit: The small berry is formed from a fleshy receptacle consisting of seed-like achenes on the surface. Under cultivation this plant rarely produces fruit and is normally reproduced vegetatively.
