Propagation
Semi-hardwood cutting of non flowering shoots taken during summer and placed in a warm humid environment until roots develop.

Culture
This plant will tolerate a shaded position but will produce fewer flowers. It prefers a drier position and may be difficult to grow in warm humid areas.


Botanic information
Leaf: The soft leathery textured obovate to elliptic leaves are covered in a greyish-white tomentum on both sides whilst young but become glabrous with age. The apex is obtuse and the petiole is short.

Flower: The radiate flowers have conspicuous ray-florets and upright tubular disc-florets. The flower heads are arranged in loose terminal panicle and appear profusely over the plant from summer to autumn.
