Semi hardwood cuttings taken during summer and placed under mist.


Botanic information
Leaf: The variable leaves are broad-elliptical to ovate and covered in fine hairs towards the base of the plant and are arranged in a whorl of three. The upper linear leaves are glabrous with recurved margins and arranged oppositely.

Flower: The regular pendant bisexual campanulate flowers have 4-petals that are up to 12 mm (½ in) long and 4-glabrous reddish sepals. The pedestal is up to 6 mm (¥ in) long and the flowers appear in the upper leaf axils during spring.

Fruit: The tiny capsule opens loculicidally and contains numerous seeds that are viable but may be difficult to germinate and the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
