Botanic information
Leaf: The thick textured dark green leaves are obovate to spathulate with a short pale green petiole and an obtuse apex. They are arranged densely along the stems and are forward pointing.

Flower: The small pink-purplish cyathiform flowers have exserted stamens in bundles of 2-5 and are arranged in a terminal globular cluster that is up to 20 mm (µ in) wide and appearfrom late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The tiny capsules are arranged in an ovoid head that is up to 8 mm (? in) long. The small seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
