Division of offsets during autumn.

Sow fresh seed from autumn to spring and in cold climates place in a cold frame to germinate.


Botanic information
Leaf: The fleshy linear leaves are decumbent with an acuminate apex. The upper surface is glossy green and the under sides is pail dull green.

Flower: The stellate flowers have 6-pointed petals with a greenish midvein and is keeled on the underside. There are up to 75-flowers arranged in a loose pyramidal raceme that is held above the foliage on a slender scape and appears from late spring to early summer.

Note
The petals are greenish towards the centre and the 6-stamens have yellowish anthers. The slender pedestals for up to 38 mm (1½ in) long.

Fruit: The small loculicidal 3-angled capsule contains numerous ovoid to globose seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
