Propagation
Sow fresh seed during early spring and pre-soak seeds in heated water 13º to 18ºC (55º-64ºF) for 24 hours. Seeds may require scarification (peeling treatment).

Semi hardwood cuttings taken during summer and apply bottom heat.

Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green dissected leaves are sub-pinnatisect with the strongly ascending lobes up to 50 mm (2 in) long. They have revolute margins that enclose the underside which has a prominent mid-vein and the petiole is short.

Flower: The small flowers have a pedestal up to 6 mm (¥ in)long and the oblong creamy-white 4-parted perianth segments are up to 3 mm (? in) long witha protruding yellow pistil to 8 mm (? in) long with a conical pollen presenter. The flowers are arranged in an a conical terminal or sometimes axillary raceme up to 40 mm (1? in) long by 30 mm (1? in) wide and are accompanied by tiny papery bracts to 3 mm (? in) long and fall early. The flowers appear during spring and are pollinated by insects.

Fruit: The ellipsoidal follicle is up to 7 mm (¥ in) wide by 5 mm (? in) wide with a sticky pericarp. The flat oblong-ellipsoidal seeds have waxy margins and are up to 3 mm (? in) long and are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
