Propagation
Sow fresh seeds when ripe and place in a protected environment until germination occurs.

Soft tip cuttings taken during early summer and semi hardwood cuttings taken during summer. Inserted into a well drained media and apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile narrow oblong to narrow obovate leaves are densely covered in white tomentose and have recurved margins. The apex is obtuse and the leaves are arranged in opposite pairs (decussate).

Flower: The 2-lipped labiate flowers are densely covered in whitish hairs and arranged in a flat topped terminal simple or compound cluster. They appear during summer.

Fruit: The 4-nutlets are smooth or have a reticulated pattern on the outside. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
