Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during autumn and place in a cold frame to germinate.

Division of the clump during spring.
Softwood cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.

Note:
All parts of the plant if ingested it may cause a stomach upset and contact with the sap may irritate the skin.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile blue green leaves are ovate to orbicular with obtuse apex and are generally arranged oppositely and are united at the base.

Flower: The 5-merous stellate flowers are arranged in corymb that is held above the foliage on a stem that is up to 76 mm (3 in) tall and appear during summer.

Fruit: The small star-shaped follicle produces numerous seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
