Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during autumn and place in a cold frame to germinate.
Division of the clump during spring.
Softwood cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.

All parts of the plant if ingested it may cause a stomach upset and contact with the sap may irritate the skin.
Botanic information
Leaf: The mid green spathulate leaves are up to 12 mm (½ in) wide with an obtuse apex and arranged alternately in a rosette and in the offsets the leaves are almost arranged oppositely.
Flower: The bright yellow stellate flowers are arranged in a flat topped terminal panicle-like cyme that is held above the foliage and appears in summer. The tiny flowers have 5-sepals and petals with small spreading stamens.
Fruit: The small star-shaped follicle produces numerous seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
