Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during autumn and place in a cold frame to germinate.
Division of the clump during spring.
Softwood cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.

All parts of the plant if ingested it may cause a stomach upset and contact with the sap may irritate the skin.
Botanic information
Leaf: The broad spathulate to oval leaves have an obtuse apex with a mucronate tip and are up to 6 mm (¥ in) wide. They are arranged in a loose rosette and the texture is thick and fleshy with the surface covered in minute bumps.
The leaves on the flower stems are oblanceolate or linear oblanceolate up to 20 mm (µ in)long by 4 mm (? in)wide.
Flower: The 4-merous stellate flowers are arranged in a terminal corymb that is held above the foliage on scape that is up to 150 mm (6 in) tall and appear during spring.
Fruit: The small star-shaped follicle produces numerous seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
