Propagation
Sow seed in a container and place in a cold frame to germinate. Keep moist and prick out when large enough to handle. Plant out with a spacing of 200 mm (7µ in).
Division of the plant during spring.
Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile curved thick textured glaucous green linear-lanceolate to ovate-oblong leaves are up to 10 mm (? in) long with a whitish long acuminate apex. They are arranged in whorls of four and are overlapping forming small tufts.
Flower: The small showy deep pink to white tubular flowers are arranged in a terminal cluster and appear during late spring.
Fruit: The tiny berries contain numerous seeds and should be collected once the fruit has dried on the plant.The small seeds are viable but the plant can be reproduced vegetatively.
