Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in pots and place in a cold frame to germinate.

Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.

Botanic information
Leaf: The small silvery green palmately lobed leaves are divided into linear segments that have an acute apex. Both surfaces are densely pubescent and the leaves are clustered densely together towards the end of the stems. The fragrant foliage is used fresh or dried in herbal posies.

Flower: The tiny yellow radiate flowers are arranged in a loose terminal panicle that appears amongst the foliage during summer.

Fruit: The small ovoid to ellipsoid achenes have 2-5 angles and the pappus may be absent. The seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
