Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during autumn and place in a cold frame to germinate.
Division of the clump during spring.

Softwood cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.

Note:
All parts of the plant if ingested it may cause a stomach upset and contact with the sap may irritate the skin.


Botanic information
Leaf: The brittle fleshy spathulate leaves are arranged oppositely in rosettes and have an obtuse apex. The colour varies from mid green to silvery green and is commonly tinged in red.

Flower: The tiny bright yellow stellate flowers have 5-sepals and 5-seperate petals with small spreading stamens. They are arranged in a terminal flat cyme that is held above the foliage during summer.

Fruit: The small star-shaped spreading follicle produces numerous seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
