Divide plants are during spring.
Semi-hardwood cuttings taken during summer and place under mist, roots appear with in six weeks.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery texture glossy dark green leaves are ovate to oblong or oblanceolate with an acute to obtuse apex. The petiole is short and the margin is sharply serrated. They are arranged oppositly along the corky stems that have small protuberances.
Flower: The tiny reddish brown bisexual crateriform flowers have 4-sepals, petals and stamens. They appear solitary in the leaf axils during spring.
Fruit: The tiny 2-valved capsules contain seeds that have a white lobed aril and are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
