Propagation
Sow fresh seed during early spring and pre-soak seeds in heated water 13º to 18ºC (55º to 64ºF) for 24 hours. Seeds may require scarification.
Botanic information
Leaf: The small dull green leaves are narrow-oblanceolate tapering to a cuneate base and the apex is acute with a pointed tip that is not sharp.
Flower: The glabrous yellow papillionate flowers have a calyx that is up to 5mm (?in) long and the yellow standard is orange towards the centre. The flowers have a short pedicle and are arranged solitary or in a small cluster in the leaf axils along the branches. They appear form late winter to spring.
Fruit: The small rounded pod contains numerous seeds.
