Botanic information
Leaf: The soft textured dark green ovate leaves have an irregular toothed margin, cuneate base and an acute apex. The upper surface has reticulated venation and the purplish petiole is short

Flower: The small white to mauve 2-lipped labiate flowers have long exserted stamens and the flowers are arranged in a terminal conical raceme. They appear from early summer to autumn.

Fruit: The tiny fruit contains 4-nutlets and the seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
