Propagation
Sow seed when ripe in trays and prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle. Grow on in pots for one season before planting out.

Cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The almost sessile leaves are linear to oblong with an obtuse apex. The upper surface is glossy with reddish-brown markings and the underside is paler, covered in glandular dots and the leaves are aromatic when crushed.

Flower: The white stellate flowers have 5-pointed linear petals that are up to 7mm (¥in) long and 10-long-slender exserted stamens with yellow anthers. Theyare arranged in a terminal corymb up to 50mm (2in) wide on a slender reddish peduncle and appear from late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The tiny capsule has 2-5 chambers and contains seeds with endosperm and are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
