Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).
Soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring and semi hardwood cuttings taken during late summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are ovate to oblong with an acuminate apex and a long petiole. The upper surface has prominent pinnate venation and the margins may be undulating.

Flower: The tubulate flowers have a pedicle up to 30mm (1?in) long and 5-petals that flare at the end of the tube with a yellow throat.There are up to 8-flowers arranged in an axillary cluster which appears profusely towards the end of the branches during summer.

Fruit: The globose pulpy berry is enclosed by the expanded calyx. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
