Propagation
Collect seeds when still green to avoid insect attack. Sow fresh seed in pots and place in a cool position to germinate.

Botanic information
Leaf: The widely spaced bright green leaves are slightly covered in stellate tomentose. They are ovate to ovate-lanceolate with an acute apex and a rounded base. The slender petiole is up to 40mm (1?in) long.
Flower: The campanulate flowers generally are unisexual with the yellow male consisting of 5-triangular sepals and 5-oblong petals with an exserted staminal column. The smaller greenish female flowers are arranged in terminal or axillary a paniculated cyme that is up to 230mm (9in) long and appears from late spring to early summer.
Fruit: The small ovoid light brown downy capsule splits down one side and contains a single seed that is up to 2mm long. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
