Propagation
Surface sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media, and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F). Prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.

Semi hardwood cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The tiny leathery mid green leaves have reddish-brown tinged recurved margins and the underside is pale green. The leaves are almost sessile and are covered in fine hairs.

Flower: The small male and female cyathiform flowers have 4 to 5 lobes and have exserted stamens. They appear on different plants (dioecious) and are normally arranged in an axillary cluster or are solitary. They appear during spring.

Fruit: The drupes are whitish or pale yellow and the small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
