Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during autumn and place in a cold frame to germinate.
Division of the clump during spring.
Softwood cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.

All parts of the plant if ingested it may cause a stomach upset and contact with the sap may irritate the skin.
Botanic information
Leaf: The fleshy cylindrical obovate to spathulate leaves a light green, often glaucous and up to 12 mm (½ in)wide. They have an obtuse apex that is tipped in red.
Flower: The almost sessile yellow stellate flowers are arranged in an axillary cyme that is held above the foliage, appearing from winter to spring. The tiny pink flowers have 5-sepals and petals with small spreading stamens and mature to carmine.
Fruit: The small star-shaped follicle produces numerous seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
