Propagation
Sow fresh seed during early spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Division of the clump during spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green pinnate leaves have 3-obovate leaflets that may be notched at the apex (emarginate). They are arranged densely towards the end of the stems. The leaves die-off in late spring and re-appear in late summer.

Flower: The small solitary funnelform flowers have 5-petals that may have red dotts or veins in the throat. They are held above the foliage on a slender scape and appear during late spring.

Fruit: The small capsule is explosive, dispersing the tiny seeds are very viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
