Sow seed when ripe or during spring in pots and place in a protected environment.

Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile dark green leaves are linear to lanceolate with an accumulate apex. The margins are slightly recurved and the underside is pale green. The leaves are arranged in opposite pairs towards the end of the stems.

Flower: The lavender blue salverform flowers have 5-spreading petals that are deeply notched to 4mm (?in) and are arranged in an axillary cyme with up to 9-blooms. They appear during spring.

Fruit: The small 3-valved capsule contains the numerous seeds that are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively. Cultivars are reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
