Semi-hardwood tip cuttings taken during summer apply bottom heat.
Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green sessile leaves are elliptical to narrow-oblong with an acute apex and is covered in fine silky pubescence.
Flower: The small funnelform flowers have a green pubescent calyx and 5-deep blue partially united petals each with a red-violet stripe. They are arranged in a leafy terminal cyme that is held above the foliage and appears from late spring to early summer.
Fruit: The tiny fruit contains 4-nutlets commonly only one maturing. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
