Propagation
Sow fresh seeds in trays and maintain a warm humid environment. Prick out and pot up when large to handle.
Division of the clump during spring.
Botanic information
Leaf: The silvery grey basal leaves are spathulate to lanceolate with an entire margin and an obtuse apex. The stem leaves are pinnatifid with up to six lobes. Both leaf types are sessile and densely covered in white pubescence. The stem leaves may be arranged opposite towards the top.
Flower: The bright yellow radiate flower heads appear solitary or are in a loose corymb that is held above the foliage from late spring to summer.
Fruit: The small achenes are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
