Sow fresh seed during spring and pot up when big enough to handle.
Softwood cuttings taken from spring to summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are ovate to lanceolate up to 38 mm (1½in) wide with an acute apex and the petiole is up to 3 mm (?in) long. The veins on the underside are pubescent and the margin is coarsely serrated.
Flower: The small 5-petaled pink crateriform flowers are arranged in a terminal corymb that is up to 200 mm (8in) wide and appear during midsummer.
Fruit: The tiny fruit is a one celled dehiscent follicle. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
