Propagation
Stratify seeds for 2 to 3 months during winter and sow seeds in pots then place them in an cold frame.
Soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The thick leathery 3-nerved leaves are elliptical to ovate-lanceolate with and entire to slightly serrated margin. It is glossy green above and pale green below. The pale green petiole is up to 20mm (µin) long and the apex is acute and may have a reddish ting.
Flower: The tiny white flowers are tubulate to rotate and they are arranged in a flattened terminal peduncled cyme that is up to 80mm (3?in) wide and appears during late spring.
Fruit: The ovoid drupe is blackish when mature and are arranged in clusters. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
