Propagation
Stratify seeds for 2 to 3 months during winter and sow seeds in pots then place them in an cold frame.
Soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The semi glossy dark green leaves are ovate to oblong with a glabrous upper surface tinged in red and are pubescent on the underside with reddish veins and petiole. The apex is acuminate
Flower: The tiny tubulate flowers are white tinged in pink and are arranged in loose pendant panicle up to 76mm (3in) wide and appear during early summer.
Fruit: The globose drupe is red maturing to black and are arranged in pendant clusters. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
