Propagation
Stratify seeds for 2 to 3 months during winter and sow seeds in pots then place them in an cold frame.

Soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are broad-ovate to obovate with a sub-cordate base and is up to 88mm (3½in) wide. The petiole is up to 20mm (µin) long and both surfaces are covered in fine pubescence. During autumn the leaves turn bronze-red and persist on the plant.

Flower: The tiny salverform flowers have 5-sepals and petals and numerous flowers are arranged in a dense 5-branched domed terminal corymb that is up to 120mm (4µin) wide. The flowers are produced profusely during early summer covering the plant.
