Propagation
Soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring and semi hardwood cuttings taken during late summer.

Note:
After flowering it tolerates a light prune to thicken up.


Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green leaves are ovate to ovate-lanceolate with pointed serrated margins and an acuminate apex. The base is broad-cuneate and the petiole is short.

Flower: The crateriform flowers have 4- sepals and 4-obovate petals with many central stamens. They are arranged in an axillary raceme with up to 7-blooms and appear during early summer. Cultivars may have double flowers and some have no fragrance.

Fruit: The small dehiscent capsule is 4 celled and contains many seeds. It is persistent on the plant and the small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
