Soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring and semi hardwood cuttings taken during late summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are ovate to broad-ovate with serrated margins towards the acuminate apex. The mid green upper surface has a quilted appearance and covered in tiny white hairs. The underside is pale green with prominent venation and covered in grey pubescence. The petiole is short and reddish.

Flower: The cyathiform flowers have 4- pubescent sepals and 4-obovate petals with many exserted central stamens with yellow anthers. They are arranged in an axillary raceme with up to 7-blooms and appear during early summer.

Fruit: The tiny dehiscent capsule is 4 celled and contains many seeds. It is persistent on the plant and the small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
