Leaf: The tiny leaves are reduced to cylindrical phyllodia and may have up to 3-leaflets.
Flower: The small bright yellow papillionate flowers are arranged in a terminal raceme that appears profusely during late spring.
Fruit: The small sessile legume is ovate and contains viable hard coated seeds.
