Semi hardwood cuttings taken during summer and apply bottom heat.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are oval to oblong with an abrupt acuminate apex. The underside is covered in dense white pubescence and the petiole is short. The leaves are alternate and arranged in a zig zag fashion along the branchlets.
Flower: The red to white flowers are narrow-campanulate and have 5-petals and sepals and an inferior 2-celled ovary. The flowers are arranged in a cyme of three on a slender peduncle in the leaf axil and appear during early summer.
Fruit: The oblong woody 2-valved capsule dehisces from the top. The small seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
