Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in pots and place in a cold frame to germinate in cool climates.
Take semi hardwood cuttings during early summer and placed in a well drained media on a misting bench.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery textured dull green sessile linear to lanceolate leaves are up to 65 mm (2½ in) long with an acute-mucronate apex.
Flower: The bright yellow rotate flowers are up to 15 mm (? in) wide and have a campanulate calyx and 6-notched obovate spreading petals. They appear singularly in the leaf axils during a late summer.
Fruit: The small brown globular capsules are up to 10 mm (? in) in diameter and has 5-valves and it contains numerous tiny viable seeds but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
