Propagation
Surface sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media, and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F). Prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.

Stem cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are ovate-deltoid with a terete petiole that is up to 560mm (22in) long and a short acuminate apex. It has a cuniate to a broady lobed cordate base.

Flower: The spadix varies in length from 50mm (2in) to 260mm (10¥in) long and is held above the foliage on a peduncle that is up to 280mm (11in) long. The thin textured yellow-green narrow-lanceolate spathe is up to 250mm (9µin) long and appears from late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The obovate berries are purplish towards the acute apex and contain small seeds up to 6mm (¥in) long and are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
