Semi hardwood cuttings up to 100mm (4in) long taken during summer and placed on a misting bench.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are ovate to oblong with a puckered upper surface that is densely covered in short white hairs and the underside is pale green and densely pubescent. The sessile leaves are arranged in opposite pairs or in a whorl of 3 and the margins tend to be revolute.
Flower: The flowers are salverform to funnelform with 5-expanding broad obovate petals with scalloped margins and a bright yellow throat. They are arranged in a dense terminal cyme that appears during autumn.
Fruit: The stalked capsule is rounded and pubescent with the persistent calyx attached and contains numerous small viable seeds.
