Surface sow fresh seeds and prick out when large enough to handle.
Soft tip cuttings taken from spring to early summer and placed in a protected environment. Cuttings root up in four to six weeks.


Botanic information
Leaf: The small dark green terete linear leaves have an obtuse apex and a very short petiole. They are arranged densely along the slender woody branchlets and have an aromatic smell when crushed.

Flower: The cyathiform flowers have a short bell-shape calyx tube with 5-spreading oval shaped petals. It has numerous exserted stamens with pale yellow anthers that are up to 3 mm (? in) long. They appear in groups of 2-3 at the end of the branchlets during spring.

Fruit: The tiny capsule opens when ripe to release numerous fine seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
