Propagation
Sow fresh seed in a well drained media and place in a protected environment. Prick out when large enough to handle.
Semi-hardwood cuttings taken during the growing period.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery textured dark green leaves are linear to oval with an obtuse to acute apex and is up to 8 mm (Ľ in) wide.

Flower: The almost sessile crateriform flowers have 5-rounded petals and numerous exserted stamens in a ring towards the centre. They appear profusely in axillary clusters of two along the reddish stems from late winter to early spring.

Fruit: The small capsule contains numerous seeds that are viable but the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
