Propagation
Sow fresh seed during early spring and pre-soak seeds in heated water 13º to 18ºC (55º-64ºF) for 24 hours. Seeds may require scarification (peeling treatment).


Botanic information
Leaf: The grey green phyllodes are straight or curved with an acute apex that terminates in a hooked point. They are up to 6mm (¥ in) wide and have a small gland towards the base.

Flower: The tiny bright yellow tubulate flowers appear in a ball-like cluster that is arranged in a short raceme or solitary amd can be in pairs along the stems. They have a peduncle up to 10mm (? in) long and the flowers appear towards the end of each branch during spring.

Fruit: The dark brown curved pod is up to 6mm (¥ in) wide and is constricted between the seeds. The hard black oblong seeds are up to 6mm (¥ in) long with a lengthy stalk that ends in a fleshy aril.
