Propagation
Sow fresh seed during early spring or when available in pots and place in a cold frame to germinate. Pre-soak seeds in heated water 13º to 18ºC (55º-64ºF) for 24 hours. Seeds may require scarification.


Botanic information
Leaf: The small bipinnate phyllodes have thickened linear leaflets that are pubescent with an obtuse apex.

Flower: The small tubulate flowers appear in a ball shaped, golden yellow flower head that is solitary or in pairs in the leaf axils towards the end of the branches. They appear from late winter to early spring.

Fruit: The flattened pod is constricted between the seeds and has a woody texture.
