Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green trifoliate leaves have 3-linear to oblong leaflets that are up to 25mm (1in) long with an obtuse apex that may have a short point. The petiole is short and the margins are revolute and the mid rib is obvious on the upper surface.
Flower: The small stellate flowers have 4-narrow sepals with an acute apexes and 4-petals that are up to 4mm (? in) long and accompanied by 4-stamens. They arearranged in axillary cyme that appears from winter to spring but tend to be inconspicuous on the plant.
Fruit: The small dry capsule is dehiscent and has 1-seed per carpel. The small seeds are viable but the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
