Propagation
Stem cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period. Careful when transplanting as the fine roots are easily damaged.

Botanic information
Leaf: The small sessile dark green ovate leaves are crowded along the stem and have a rigid acuminate apex.

Flower: The sessile salverform flower have a long floral tube with 5-broad spreading imbricate lobes. The colour is white or reddish in shaded areas. They are arranged in the leaf axils towards the end of the branchlets solitary in a spike-like inflorescence and appear from winter to early spring.

Fruit: The small capsule contains tiny seeds that are viable but may be difficult to germinate so the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
