Stem cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.


Botanic information
Leaf: The thin textured mid green leaves are ovate to broad-ovate with a reddish petiole up to 20mm (µin) long. The apex is obtuse and the surface is pubescent to glabrous with reticulated venation.

Flower: The mauve tubulate flowers hav a calyx with 2-lips. The upper is broad and entire and the lower concave with 4-attached stamens. The flowers are arranged in an erect terminal raceme that appears from late winter to midsummer.

Fruit: The small fruit consists of 4-nuttlets and the tiny seeds are viable but the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
