Propagation
Sow seed when ripe and place in an open frame to germinate.
Stem cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.
Botanic information
Leaf: The glabrous glossy green lanceolate leaves have stipules between the 2-leaf bases. The petiole is short and the apex is acuminate.
Flower: The white to yellow tubulate flowers have a narrow tube and there are 6 to 12 blooms arranged in a small cluster on a slender peduncle at the end of the branches and appear during early summer.
Fruit: The globular fruit is a compound berry that is yellow to reddish. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
