Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are variable from obovate to linear with an incised to dentate margin. The petiole is long and the apex is obtuse.

Flower: The blue tubulate flowers have a floral tube that is split open with the 3-front broad-obovate petals up to 4mm (?in) wide. They appear solitary from early summer to late autumn.

Fruit: The small capsule is rounded and the tiny seeds are viable but the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
