Propagation
Surface sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media, and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F). Prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.

Semi-hardwood cuttings taken during summer apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The grey green narrow-oblong leaves have an acuminate to obtuse apex and are up to 20mm (µin) wide. The underside has whitish stellate tomentose that extends to the short petiole and twigs.

Flower: The radiate flower heads have 12-ray florets that are white to mauve and pink or blue. They appear solitary or in a small axillary cluster on a slender scape from late spring to summer.

Fruit: The tiny cypsela are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
