Cuttings taken during late summer and placed on a misting bench.
Botanic information
Leaf: The small dark green linear leaves are almost sessile with recurved margins that give them a terete appearance and are covered in glands. The apex is obtuse and the leaves are arranged densely along the stems.
Flower: The 5-petalled yellow stellate flowers have protruding stamens and are arranged in an axillary umbel on a short thick peduncle that is scaly. They appear prolifically and are a feature of the plant during spring.
Fruit: The small capsule is dehiscent produces a solitaryseed that is not commonly used and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
